Coming out 73 Tremont street (which houses Health Services, Admissions, and most of the Business Administration and Sociology Departments, as well as Advancement, the Sawyer Dean's office and the President's office) and headed out toward Park Street. It's a nice view of the law school.
The steeple of the Park Street Church as you walk away from Campus towards Park Street.
Headed away from campus towards the park street station. You can even make out the Suffolk Centennial banners on the light posts!
More of the commons. I had managed to miss the fact that there was a sapling in the middle of my shot. Now you all know why I'm in economics and not in the Graphic Design program.
This is the fountain you have in the Commons, right near the Park Street T stop. It can be a nice place to hang out and have some lunch.
The golden dome over the Common. It was a little overcast the day I took this, hence the white sky.
The sun sets, but here you get a view of the Sawyer Building and the State House at the end of the road.
I thought I'd illustrate a little more how close Suffolk is to the MA State House. The building on the left is the State House. The building on the right that says "Suffolk University" on it is the Archer building.
Park Street is one of our big landmarks, despite the fact that it's not actually part of the school. I got a couple of nice photos of it on my way in to work.
I just thought I'd prove to someone that we do, in fact, have manhole covers with the school name on them around campus (those bricks are the markers for the Freedom Trail).
There are a number of places for study at the library. Some are cubbies, some are tables, and there are group meeting rooms as well.
I finally got a chance to go do some night photos with the new camera. Here's the Donahue Building as you're walking up Temple Street toward the State House
The shutter was open for a long time while I was taking this photo, resulting in the ghostly images of students who were walking out from class. Spooky!
OK. So, I was out and about and went a little crazy with the shots of the steeple. There's a bunch in the next set of pictures. Sorry.
There you can see what think is one of the conference rooms for the business school - though I've also heard people refer to the outside of the top floors as "stately Wayne manor."
(for those too young, too not-geeky, or unfamiliar with parts of American pop/kitsch culture, it's a reference to the old Batman TV show).
