For all of you who have never been to Vermont, now it's the perfect time to go. In my home country we don't have all four seasons (summer, fall, winter and Spring) and New England is the perfect scenario to see the beauty of each season - specially Vermont. Foliage season is starting this week, and if you have a chance to go there between now and mid October you will see the most amazing colors on their forests. The leaves colors vary from green, yellow, orange, red and brown...beautiful. I know it's hard to take some time off with all the reading and projects we have for each class, but I guarantee it's worth putting the books aside for a couple of days. If you don't have a car, there are plenty of bus services to Burlington (http://www.greyhound.com), or you can rent a car that doesn't charge by the mileage. Here are some pictures of this past weekend:
I’m starting to get used to the work load I have, but I still feel that I need some more free time…I haven’t been to the gym since school started, and that’s not good at all. So far I really like all my professors, which is awesome because a couple of them, based on the website www.ratemyprofessors.com, did not get the best evaluations from previous students and I was really worried.
Since school started I’ve increasingly became more lost in what I want to do after school than I was before school started. I think it’s because with all the people we meet we start seeing all the other option that there might be out there for you. I’m very confused right now.
Oh, remember I mentioned something about getting my license last week?! I got rejected on my driving test!!!Well, I went to the RMV on Friday morning for the driving test…about an hour before I drove around to practice parallel parking with my car and 3 point turn. After checking if all the
outside lights were all set, the test guy asked where the e-brake was located, and I said on my left foot, and because of that he had to reject me (he has the option to pass, fail or reject). He said it’s for safety reasons, so I couldn’t take the test, and now I have to find a car that has the e-brake between the drivers and passenger seats. So disappointing…
Have a good week everybody!!
