Today I got the reminder to update my blog. Actually I wanted to do that several times this week, but the assignments spent me so much time that I could not write down something quietly. I will keep in mind to update it in the future.
Ok, let me say something about my life of study. After the first orientation procedure and some necessary stuff such as required immunization, registering courses and paying tuition, I took my first class—Organizational Behavior. I was so excited that it was fresh to me, because I never studied MBA courses before. Professor is excellent, students are active, and questions are also open-ended. This kind of teaching method and ambience in class are different from most Chinese graduate schools. Their students just follow the instructions, or are reluctant to respond questions even though some teachers in China now have overseas educational background as well. I don’t say Chinese students or teachers are bad, of course not, my meaning is American education does have its unique advantage and wide influence; other countries should learn something from it.
Except that it’s still a little bit difficult to understand what the professor is talking about, I feel everything is on the way: more practice in English, more reading on textbooks, more communication with other students. In fact I will take my first exam two weeks later, hope it’s gonna be ok.
