Well things have finally simmered down... I state that with pure sarcasm. We've really begun to crank up the volume on the work and in quantity and desired quality. This last week I had to give two presentations one on Global International Flows and the Second on Trade Costs of International Trade, and then I had to turn in my first Assignment for Time Series Methods.
Three day weekends just end up making me procrastinate more. by doing such exciting tasks as making countdowns of Time, Work, Days, and Dates. 86 days till graduation by the way. Although, it doesn't make much sense for me to countdown to graduation; it's a rather arbitrary date in general, it's like 2 weeks after finals. and the day before Summer School starts... so essentially I should be counting down to...whenever i get around to finishing my Topics paper, whatever day that may be.
At this point I'll just bank on graduation and play it by ear from there.
So on a much more depression note, has anyone seen the economy? wowzers this is not an ideal economy to be graduating and then looking for a job. Everyone is very hesitant to enter into the job market this coming year. It's a little late to look at now, but can anyone say Ph.D or MSF or MBA or anything to be a viable alternative to going to work.
Who knows what the Summer will bring, but it doesn't look good. Sometimes it's good to be an economist, and sometimes ignorance is bliss.
