So I guess first off: Introductions.
I'm a student in the MA in Graphic Design program at The New England School of Art and Design at Suffolk University. Right now, I'm a year into the program and starting the dauting task of my thesis.
After studying Art History and Fine Arts for my undergrad (also at NESAD), I worked for a time at an art gallery doing research and cataloging. It was there that I realized I loved creating more than documenting and came back to further my design skills.
I'm also an intern at JSGD, doing web and print design work, along with petting the cutest dog ever. Besides that, I do freelance design and I also work with high school students painting murals with the City of Boston's Mural Crew, which I have been a part of for about nine years.
This year I have recently joined the Suffolk University Graduate Admission office as an Administrative Fellow. As one of the Fellows I help in the Grad Admissions office with day-to-day operation; and maybe some design stuff on the way.
Through course of the year, I'll be posting here about my experiences in the Admissions office, some of the day-to-day of my studies, and about any art and design stuff I find worth sharing.
So here we go...
