Dieline Spotlight

Las week a design I made was featured on the Dieline, a major packaging design website.

Having been posted as much as I should've here lately. Time to get back in. Winter break is almost over, about a week or so left before diving back into classes and thesis.

Last semester went well. Survived thesis research, so off to the studio phase come the next semester.

With Admissions, we got through the crunch with PhD. deadlines and finshed off before break with a holiday party. Got to see some old faces, with people who use to work in the office stopping by. It was the last day for A Jolly Good Fellow too, now that he's graduated. Plenty of pizza from Cafe Quattro. If you're ever in the area, defintely give the place a shot. Plus, it's run by a Suffolk alumnus too.

Stopped in a few days during the break before New Years to help with stuff before the semester starts up again.

The Say Something Poster Show is running for its second year! The Call for Entries is open. Check out the event’s website for information for more information and to download the Call for entries.

Last year we had a NESAD student make the final show. Let’s see what we can do this time around!

The event's also great if anyone wants to volunteer and help make it happen.

I got to help out last year and it was great to be a part of it. If you can, get a design out there!

As big as a hundred goldfish

Was working on making a typeface using only two shapes, equilateral triangles and squares, and trying to make it as consistent and legible as possible.

We'll see how that goes. Might actually make it into a usable font by the end of it.
